The academic year consists of four, nine-week quarters. Progress reports are mailed home at the four and one-half week midpoint of each quarter. Report cards are mailed at the end of every quarter. Teacher conferences are held as needed.

Students must demonstrate satisfactory progress, as determined by the teacher, in order to be promoted to the next grade level. Students are assessed on the three tenets of attentiveness, respect, and responsibility on a quarterly basis. Students in grades 1-12 will be given quarterly numeric grades in all courses.

All student will be given a parent-paid, yearly, standardized test.

Upper school students failing to maintain an overall 2.0 grade point average per quarter will be placed on academic probation for the following quarter with the possibility of suspension or expulsion if the grade point average does not improve.
