Our Mission
At Mooresville Christian Academy our mission is to provide Christ-centered grammar and secondary academic instruction to partner with parents in their charge to train and educate their children. We aim to equip students with a Biblical worldview and the academic tools they need to become leaders in the Kingdom of God in this generation.
Mooresville Christian Academy
Parental Commitment

This parental commitment must be signed by every parent/guardian prior to enrollment at MCA.

Mooresville Christian Academy operates with the belief that God has given parents the responsibility for the education of their own children. Parents may take advantage of the resources that a school can provide, but parents should not abdicate this responsibility to the school. MCA encourages parents to actively participate in their children's education. The vision for ministry in education at MCA depends on the support of parents in prayer, financial obligations, and time commitments.

1. We, as parents, accept the Biblical model of parental responsibility for the training of our children in our home, which states, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

2. We have carefully examined and agree with the Christian purpose and educational philosophy of MCA and desire the school to work with us in the education of our child. We understand that MCA will work with us as partners in the best interest of our child. We further recognize that MCA is not ordained or equipped to handle the complete educational needs of our child.

3. In full cooperation with the school, we pledge to meet all attendance requirements and are committed to supporting the school in its policies by attending school meetings and conferences. We commit to actively participate in the educational life of our child by keeping regular contact with the teachers regarding our child's progress and by providing a minimum of two hours of volunteer service to MCA each month.

4. We acknowledge that all curriculum is taught from a Christian worldview and in accordance with the MCA Statement of Faith. We pledge our loyalty to the aims and ideals of the school and will deal with any and all concerns directly with our child's teacher or to the Headmistress when appropriate.

5. We pledge to insure that our child meets academic requirements and to cooperate with the disciplinary standards of the school (including DRESS, CARE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY, and CONDUCT). We acknowledge that MCA reserves the right to dismiss, suspend, or otherwise discipline any student who does not adhere to the standards outlined in the school handbook.

6. We agree to pay our tuition and fees when they are due. Any family that becomes delinquent in this obligation will be subject to dismissal from school; however, the buyout fee will remain in effect.

A positive and cooperative relationship between MCA staff, students, and parents is essential to the fulfillment of the school's mission. Thus, MCA reserves the right to dismiss or elect not to enroll a student if the school reasonably concludes that the conduct of the student or his parents/guardians seriously interferes with the school's ability to accomplish its spiritual and educational purposes.
